After 20 years employed in HR roles within medium-large sized businesses, Tara Hopkins set up as a self-employed HR professional in March 2021. In February 2022, HR by Tara had reached a stage where she knew she would benefit from someone assisting her, so she took the leap to take on her first employee as a sole-trader (yes, you CAN employ people as a sole trader, you don’t have to be a limited company).
