This webinar is led by Rob Evans, a Skills Adviser at Buckinghamshire Business First. With years’ of experience of building and developing high-performing teams in public and private sector organisations, Rob will share some tips, techniques and stories from his personal experiences to help you get the best out of your employees, and avoid common (and potentially expensive) mistakes.

  • Effective communication (and the perils of ineffective communication).
  • Simple tools and techniques to get the best out of your staff.
  • Managing difficult conversations.
  • Identifying skills gap and building capability.

Who is the event aimed at?

This workshop is aimed at those who are growing their business, taking on employees for the first time, or want to get the best out of their team. It is also useful for people looking to refresh their skills.

This event is supported by Skill Up Bucks, a program designed to help SME businesses in Buckinghamshire identify and nurture future talent by creating opportunities for people aged 17+ to meet and interact with employers. The programme is funded by the European Social Fund and the Department for Work and Pensions.
